Natasha’s Slow-Cooker Pot Roast
Equipment
- 1 Slow Cooker or Crock Pot
Ingredients
- 2 lbs Beef Roast 7-bone is best, but any beef roast will do.
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 pkg French Onion Soup Mix
- 1 lbs Small or Baby Carrots one small bag
- 1 lbs Small Potatoes New, Waxy, or Red
- 4 cup Beef Broth one box
- 1 cup Red Wine Cabernet or Merlot
- 2 tsp Kosher Salt
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
Instructions
- Oil the crockpot
- Season the roast with salt and pepper.
- Place roast on bottom of slow cooker .
- Add potatoes and carrots on top of roast.
- Sprinkle French onion soup mix on top.
- Pour a beef broth and red wine over everything.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
