Knives

Knives you should have in your kitchen…

I recommend these knives and knife accessories for your home kitchen as a minimum. Each has its specific purpose and will make your life easier. As you can see from my knife block below, you don’t have to be limited to only these essentials.

If you have room on your counter and you like magnetic knife blocks, this is the best you will find. My issue is that I have too many knives. If you do as well…

… Build Your Own…

Oh… NEVER store your knives on their edge. Always on their side or their spine.

Cork

Seriously, you should have a cork.

WHY? Because it is the best knife cleaner and polisher, there is. Use your knife, wipe it off good and dry, rub it down with the cork, hand wash it, dry it, and put it away.

NEVER put your knives in the dishwasher! EVER!!! (cutlery knives are the exception, they can go in the dishwasher)
