Pam’s Caramel Sauce

Nothing better than homemade caramel sauce on your ice cream. Here is Pam’s favorite.

  • ½ stick butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup half-n-half
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


  • Add all ingredients to sauce pan
  • Whisk on medium heat until desired thickness
  • Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla
  • Pour into mason jars and let cool.
  • Pour over ice cream
