Chocolate Glaze

- 2 tbsp unsalted butter – melted (or margarine or 2 tablespoons oil)
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
- 2 tbsp hot water
- 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Whisk together in a small bowl melted butter (or margarine or oil), cocoa, and hot water.
- Shift in powdered sugar and whisk together.
- Add and vanilla and whisk until combined.
- Use immediatly on your baked goods. I usually pour it over cake, which sits on a baking rack ontop of a baking sheet to let the drips fall. I also dip cookies and let them rest on the rack until the glae hardens.
- Glaze will harden when cool.
