Anise Cookies – Betty Berry
- 6 eggs
- 1 lb sugar
- 1 lb all-purpose flour
- Anise oil to taste
- Stir by hand one hour, or 1/2 hour with electricmixer at med. speed.
- Add anise oil and flour, a little at a time stirring constantly.
- MiX thoroughly.
- Grease and flour cookie sheets.
- Drop by ½ teas. on parchment or foil lined cookie sheets.
- Let set overnight. (18 hours in a warm room)
- Bake at 325˚F until a very lite brown (10-15 min.)
- MAKE ONE RECIPE AT A TIME.
