Instructions
Place all the ingredients in a large pot.
Heat to a boil.
Lower heat and simmer uncovered 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Serve.
Notes
I usually saute the onion and then add the other ingredients.
I've also been known to use freeze-dried chopped onions instead.
